Official Rules

Rules & Regulations

  • All players must be current employees of the representing company
  • Valid corporate ID cards must be presented upon request
  • Guest players or ringers are strictly prohibited
  • Matches are played 5-on-5
  • Maximum roster limit is 12 players per team
  • No roster changes allowed once the tournament begins
  • Four quarters, each 10 minutes long (running clock)
  • Clock stops for timeouts, injuries, and the final 2 minutes of the 4th quarter
  • Each team is allowed two timeouts per half
  • In the event of a tie, a 3-minute overtime period will be played
  • Players foul out after committing 5 personal fouls
  • Team bonus reached on the 5th team foul per quarter
  • Technical fouls result in two free throws and possession for the opposing team
  • Matching jerseys with visible numbers on front and back are mandatory
  • Proper non-marking athletic basketball shoes must be worn (no formal shoes or bare feet)
  • Teams must report 15 minutes before scheduled tip-off
  • Forfeit declared if a team cannot field at least 4 players within 10 minutes of start time
  • Zero tolerance for aggressive behavior or physical altercations
  • Referees' decisions are final
  • Only team captains may discuss calls with officials during designated breaks
